Following the opening of the application portal of the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme 2018 many applicants across Africa have started submitting applications to be part of the programme this year.

How do I participate in the programme?
You must complete an application form by answering a series of mandatory questions. After submission, you will receive a confirmation email of receipt within 1 working day.
What if my company is a partnership?
Only one nominated person from the business or the partnership is able to join the programme.
Can I apply offline?
No. All Applications must be submitted online through the application portal. Applications not submitted through this portal will not be attended to.
Deadline for submission of application for the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme 2018 is March 1, 2018.
What if English Language is Not my primary language?
The application portal has functionality in English, French and Portuguese which are about the languages spoken all across Africa.
What information or identification do I need to provide in my application?
You must answer all the mandatory questions in the application form.
At this application stage, you are not expected to upload any identification document.
Identification documents will be required once you’re shortlisted to be part of the programme.
How many applicants will be chosen to join the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship programme?
There are 1,000 places available annually for the applications that are selected by the Selection Committee for a placement in the programme.
This 1000 slots are to be filled by candidates across all the 54 countries of Africa on a purely merit-based system.
Are there Application or Associated Fees?
No. The Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme does not charge any applicants a fee for applying to the programme.
With this, anyone parading himself/herself as an agent of the Tony Elumelu Foundation requesting for a fee to ensure that you have a place in the final shortlist should not only be disregarded, but even reported to the foundation through the Foundation’s email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
