The first season of one of Nigeria’s biggest entrepreneurship reality show, The Pitch Nigeria Show is on now.
It’s the Pitch Nigeria exclusively sponsored by Sterling Bank Nigeria. The show features 50 entrepreneurs selected from all over Nigeria. These entrepreneurs battle against one another in a pitching competition to determine who wins the star prize of N10 million as well as the other two luck entrepreneurs who will walk away with N5 million and N1 million as 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.
The Pitch Nigeria began with an application which received over 9,000 entries. Of these applicants, 1,000 were shortlisted to take part in an online SMEToolkit training programme conducted by the Enterprise Development Centre of the Lagos Business School. After the online training programme, 200 successful entrepreneurs were invited to be part of the preliminary pitching competition from where the best 50 were admitted to be part of the Pitch Nigeria Show.
