The World Hunger Fighters Foundation (WHFF) is accepting applications for the Borlaug-Adesina Fellowship for Agricultural Entrepreneurs.
The World Hunger Fighters Foundation, in partnership with the World Food Prize Foundation, USA, is establishing this year-long Fellowship Program, presenting an unparalleled opportunity to outstanding African youths between the ages of 21 and 30 years old to attend the WHFF Africa Youth Institute at the World Food Prize Foundation in Iowa, United States of America.
The Borlaug-Adesina Fellowship for Agricultural Entrepreneurs is an innovative educational program that challenges promising youths across the continent to join forces with other youths globally to solve the most critical problems we face on the planet, providing real-world experiences to prepare them, as Borlaug-Adesina Fellows, for success and high-impact careers to that will end hunger across the world.

Dr Norman Borlaug
The late Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Dr. Norman Borlaug, whose work helped feed one billion people, showed the way. He showed the way. He used his Nobel Peace Prize award to establish the World Food Prize Foundation, which annually awards the prestigious World Food Prize, which is otherwise known as the ‘Noble Prize for Food and Agriculture’.
Dr. Akinwumi Adesina
Dr. Akinwumi Adesina is the 2017 recipient of the World Food Prize; the 2019 SunHak Peace Prize; and the 2007 YARA Prize Laureate. He is a globally acclaimed leader on development, and internationally recognized for driving efforts to transform agriculture and food security in Africa, for more than thirty years. Just like his mentor, Dr. Norman Borlaug, Dr. Adesina has committed his life to ending global hunger and lifting millions of people out of poverty. He has devoted the entirety of his World Food Prize, and SunHak Peace prize monetary awards, to endow and establish The World Hunger Fighters Foundation
THE WORLD HUNGER-FIGHTERS FOUNDATION (WHFF) is a non-profit organization committed to building a better world where no person should ever go hungry. Founded and endowed by Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, the vision of the World Hunger Fighters Foundation is to develop a new generation of young food and agribusiness entrepreneurs to help end global hunger and promote agriculture as a business that unleashes wealth for poor farmers.
