Then apply for the second round of the Bank of Industry Graduate Entrepreneurship Fund (GEF)
What you stand to benefit from the Graduate Entrepreneurship Fund:
Loan facility of up to 2 million naira to start your business. The loan facility comes with a 6-12 month moratorium, that is, a period within which you are not required to pay anything back. The loan is for 3-5 years and at a ridiculously low interest rate of 9%.
Thorough entrepreneurial training to enable you successfully run a business of your own and become an employer of labour instead of a job seeker.
Sound entrepreneurial guidance all the way through to ensure that you are successful in your business. This is done by attaching you to one of the many Business Development Service Providers that the Bank of Industry works with.

You must be a serving corps member as you would need your NYSC state code to fill the online form.
Also, your NYSC discharge certificate will be used as collateral for the loan. This is in addition to two guarantors that you will need to provide later on if you application is successful.
Remember: you need to develop and present a bankable business plan that is well conceptualized and packaged if you are selected for the training programme.

Please note that the Graduate Entrepreneurship Fund will award only 1,000 corps members for this second edition, so ensure that your business idea is well packaged.
